The hoe was a very important tool to the Egyptian farmer.

The hoe was used to break the soil when farming.

Ancient Egyptian pyramids were very important to the ancient Egyptian custom.

They were made to put pharoahs and objects in.

The shaduf is the most important tool in the Egyptian custom.

When the flooding of the Nile arrived, a farmer would put the shaduf near the river bed.

Then the pail would go in the water by the farmer raising the shaduf up, then letting it come back down.

When it comes back down it gets water in the pail.

That's how the shaduf works.
