There are over 4,000 different Egyptian gods. Priests spent their entire lives learning their names and purposes. No one in Egypt knew each god by name. 3 to 4 times each day priests would bathe in pools of "sacred water" to keep their nickname "the pure ones." Priests, like everyone else, love partying.
