Instead of writing with the alphabet like we do, Egyptians wrote with hieroglyphics, pictures that would represent letters. This is a scroll made out of papyrus. Only professional scribes were allowed to write on papyrus. Most young scribes wore their hair like the picture on the right. Back to Top
