A Parent's View of an Integrated Curriculum:
Third Grade Cities Unit - Boston and Paris

In the third grade, the children read a lot of books, learned spelling words, and mastered addition, subtraction, and multiplication math facts. The City Unit became the focus of a great deal of learning. There were several field trips into Boston. The unit was brought to a close with a French luncheon that the students cooked (with adult help).
